This museum is exhibiting the work and relics of the Loyalty to the emperor painter Mr. Souun Tasaki who was born in Ashikaga.
He has learned paintings from Kanai Ujyu and is highly regarded overseas, and is also known as the first imperial craftsman. This museum is located at the southern end of Ashikaga Park. Next to the museum, there is Hakuseki Sanbo which Souun used as a atelier and home.
