Ashikaga Orimono Densyokan (Ashikaga Textile Museum) is a small museum where you can touch the history of Ashikaga through textiles.
`Ashikaga Someorimono` (Ashikaga dyed fabric) which was also described in "Tsurezuregusa" once upon a time...
Ashikaga's textiles history is passed down to the present through the `Meisen Kimono`, which has excellent design and fashionability.

To make you feel the history of Ashiiaga Textile,
colorful Meisen, and the materials related to modern Ashikaga textiles of the Meiji, Taisho and Showa eras are exhibited.

We sell textile products handled in Ashikaga City as well as Meisen accessories.

In addition, if you make a reservation in advance, you will be able to experience things related to cloth and it will be a good memory of sightseeing.

Ashikaga Orihime Shrine is also nearby and you can walk to there from the Ashikaga Textile Museum.

It is recommended as a sightseeing course.
