Nagusa Firefly Festival

Firefly preservation and regeneration activities were evaluated and we authorized as `Hometown of Living Thing` from the Environment Agency (currently the Ministry of Environment) in 1989.

The peak of Genji-Firefly (Genji-Botaru) fly is around 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm and seems to be more common on sultry and rainless nights.

We also sell fresh agricultural products in this event.

Please cooporate with firefly raising donation.
