Kabasaki Hachimangu Shrine Spring Festival
It is said that Kabasaki Hachimangu Shrine was the place where Ashikaga Yoshikane who also known as the founder of Bannaji Temple had closed his life.
The entire precinct is designated as an important cultural property of Ashikaga as the histric site and the ceder of the sacred tree on the right side of the main shrine building as natural momument.
As a result of excavation research, this archeological site has been recognized as precious natinally as a medieval temple site that leaves Jodo garden and a temple hall, making it a designated national histric site.
At the Kabasaki Hachimangu Shrine Spring Festival, Kagura dedication (sacred music and dance dedication) and small shops will be provided by Ujiko (Shrine parishioner) people.
