Matsumura Kinenkan (Matsumura Memorial House)

This building was built by the fourth-generation Matsumura Hanbei in 1925, that is 2-stories wooden Japanese style house, and has a gentle "Mukuri" on the tiled roof.
`Uchigura` (Place for storing the treasure, household effects etc.) that is attached to the main building has a three-layer structure consisting of a basement floor and a 2nd floor above the ground.

In addition to the furnishings and daily necessities of the Matsumura family during the Edo, Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods, we introduce documents of such as Ashikaga-born Minister of Justice, Sennosuke Yokota and other politicians, scholars, and person of culture.
